Howdy! We’re Liz & Dennis of Eat See RV. We’re two travel loving, real estate investing, foodies that are following our dream of living life on the road. After lots of planning and preparing in March of 2017 we sold most of our belongings and moved into a 2017 Grand Design Momentum 328M Fifth Wheel Toy Hauler with our two cats. After a year and a half of full-time travel, we downsized to a smaller Class C RV that we are renovating. We continue to travel in our RV full time, exploring and sharing all the wonderful sights, food, and adventures North America has to offer.

Our Story

Shortly after meeting and starting our careers in Orlando, FL, talk of grand ideas to travel the world left us itching for freedom and exploration. Loving exotic foods, cultures, and lands, we knew we wanted to travel extensively in other countries. However, the more we talked about our plans the worse we felt about going overseas before exploring our own country. So we decided to RV the United States before heading abroad. Unfortunately, our jobs as a bartender and teacher did not allow us to work remotely. We needed jobs that provided the freedom to work from anywhere with the income to support full time travel. Even though we knew nothing about real estate or investing we started our company, Seasoned Funding in 2013 and hit the ground running. There were lots of ups and downs of taking on a “side hustle”…not to mention the challenge of learning how to invest in real estate, but we knew the end result would be worth it. Four and half years later, in June 2017, we quit our jobs to take on our real estate business full time and hit the road. If you’re interested in seeing how others are able to make money and travel, visit our blog series here.

Over the next few years, we’ll be traveling throughout the United States, taking in all of the unique qualities each city, state and region has to offer. We look forward to sharing our adventure with you!

Liz was a 1st grade and Kindergarten teacher for six years at an amazing school, Grand Avenue PLC prior to it being shut down in June of 2017. Liz first got the travel bug when she visited a friend in Argentina in college for spring break. Just three weeks after returning, she applied for a teaching abroad program and moved to Spain for 3 months to teach English. She’s now traveled to four different continents and her love for travel and exploration grows deeper the more she sees. Liz loves to cook…and eat (pescatarian diet)! She is a self development and podcast addict who enjoys reading, gardening, and being with friends and family.
Dennis, a native Floridian, was a bartender for over ten years in Orlando, FL. While he hadn’t traveled much prior to meeting Liz, he quickly fell in love with traveling and was on board for full time exploration. He is an amazing artist with a knack for seeing things differently. He loves to capture nature and the world around him with his camera. He’s the man behind all of the amazing photos and videos you see on the site. Dennis enjoys being outdoors, riding his bike, being creative, and eating new foods. Oh and our cats, he loves our cats!

Pilar and Oliver are our two adorable cats. Both adopted from the SPCA and love living the RV lifestyle. Pilar is a “Hemingway” cat, meaning she has extra toes, often found on the cats on the Hemingway property. We named her accordingly, after the scandalous gypsy character Pilar in For Whom the Bell Tolls (by Ernest Hemingway). Oliver is the friendly and cuddly companion we adopted just one year later who acts more like a dog than a cat. We never thought we were “cat people” until we got them. Now, we’re bonafide cat lovers. We hope you enjoyed getting to know more about Liz and Dennis of Eat See RV and we hope we can meet face to face one day!
